Jimmy taught grade school for ten years. Then he got into doing SHOW & TELL on a full time basis as a stand-up comedian. The bulk of his material comes from his years in the classroom from the perspective of a student and as a teacher; A view from both sides of the desk. Jimmy found his comedy home at The Legendary Ice House in Pasadena, CA. and became George Lopez's opening act during the 2000-2003 Right Now, Right Now tour. He also toured as Arsenio Halls opening act. He worked with Arsenio on Star Search as the audience warm-up. Jimmy Burns will be a great pick for any event.
